Basketball Court Flora
The basketball court at George Pindon Sports Complex in Flora was in poor condition. Baitali Group funded the complete renovation.
The renovated court is now usable year-round for schools, sports associations, and the wider community in Flora.

We invest deliberately in what we support
Baitali Group invests structurally in the communities where we operate. We do so based on social impact and a clear focus — not based on who asks most loudly.
Below you will find which initiatives we can support, and which fall outside our scope.
- Registered organizations, foundations or government institutions active in Suriname
- Initiatives with demonstrable, direct impact on people or the living environment
- Projects that align with at least one of our five social themes
- Collaborations where transparency about spending and follow-up is a matter of course
- Individual requests or requests without an organizational basis
- Commercial initiatives without a social component
- Activities related to tobacco, alcohol, gambling or political parties
- Anonymous requests — a named contact person is always required
Meeting the criteria does not guarantee support. Our budget is finite and deliberately distributed across the year — not every strong initiative fits within the current quarter.
