Role description
As a Project Leader, you are responsible for the successful planning, coordination, and execution of projects from initiation through completion. You play a key role in ensuring that project objectives are achieved by effectively managing people, resources, budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations. You are responsible for developing comprehensive project plans that clearly define project phases, objectives, timelines, budgets, resource requirements, and key deliverables. Throughout the project lifecycle, you monitor progress against established milestones, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions when necessary to ensure projects remain on track and achieve their intended outcomes. In this role, you coordinate the activities of project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient project execution. You allocate tasks and responsibilities, provide leadership and direction to team members, and foster a positive working environment that promotes accountability, teamwork, and high performance. A strong commitment to quality and safety is fundamental to the position. You ensure compliance with company policies, project specifications, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements. You implement and monitor safety measures and verify that all work is performed in accordance with approved drawings, technical requirements, and established quality standards. Risk management and problem-solving form an essential part of the role. You proactively identify potential risks, challenges, and operational constraints, develop mitigation strategies, and implement practical solutions to minimize their impact on project performance. Through effective planning and continuous monitoring, you help ensure the successful delivery of projects despite changing circumstances. As the primary point of contact for project-related matters, you maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders, management, and project teams. You provide regular updates on project progress, risks, financial performance, and significant changes, ensuring transparency and alignment among all parties involved. You also review and approve administrative and financial reports to maintain accurate and reliable project records. Financial oversight is another key responsibility. You prepare and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, identify potential cost overruns, and recommend corrective measures to maintain financial control and maximize project efficiency. In addition, you actively manage stakeholder relationships by maintaining open communication, addressing concerns, and representing the project during meetings, presentations, and progress reviews. Your ability to build trust and maintain strong relationships contributes directly to the overall success of the project.

What we ask of you
- 01Bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in a technical field.
